An overview of the Grandstream GXP1700 series of VoIP phones

Grandstream design and produce feature rich and cost effective IP phones, ranging from home use, small-to-medium sized businesses, to enterprise corporations. Grandstream phones traditionally have broad interoperability with the majority of VoIP systems.

The Grandstream GXP1700 series is aimed at the mid-range market, for businesses that are growing. The GXP1700 series features a sleek, high-end design with a variety of mid-range productivity tools that keep users both efficient and productive.

The Grandstream GXP1760 is the fist model in the range, coming equipped with 6 lines, 3 SIP accounts, 6 dual-colour line keys and 4 XML programmable context sensitive soft keys on a 200 x 80 pixel back-lit LCD display screen.

The second model in the GXP1700 series is the Grandstream GXP1780. Which features 8 lines, 4 SIP accounts, 8 dual-colour line keys and 4 XML programmable context sensitive soft keys on a 200 x 80 pixel back-lit LCD display screen.

  • 4 XML programmable context sensitive soft keys
  • 32 digitally programmable & customizable BLF/fast dial keys
  • HD wideband audio
  • Full duplex speakerphone with advanced acoustic echo cancellation
  • 5-way audio conferencing for easy conference calls
  • Dual-switched 10/100Mbps ports, integrated PoE

The final model in the GXP1700 series is the Grandstream GXP1782. This model comes with the same features as the GXP1782 but also has Gigabit Ethernet support.

The Grandstream GXP1700 series offers a solution for all phone users in medium sized businesses. The GXP1760 is feature rich and ideal for low to medium phone users. The GXP1780 and GXP1782 are for advanced phone users.
