First Look at the Grandstream GVR3550 Network Video Recorder NVR

What is the Grandstream GVR3550?

The Grandstream GVR3550 enables recording and monitoring of IP surveillance systems. It is ideal for both small to medium sized businesses and residential users. 

What are the key features of the GVR3550?

 The GVR3550 has features that include:

  • Real time recording for up to 24 channels at 720p HD or 12 channels at 1080p HD
  • Automatic discovery for IP cameras on the local network
  • Fully customizable recording rules: time based, event based, manual or automatic
  • Up to 4 SATA 3.5” internal hard drives with maximum 16TB storage and RAID 0 or RAID 1 configurations
  • Complete security features including role based access control, event/system logs and hard drive content encryption

Up to 4 hard drives can be connected to the GVR3550, enabling for up to 16TB of video to be saved. The NVR can be connected up to a tv or monitor through remote access, enabling users to view the live feed of up to 16 cameras simultaneously. It supports all Grandstream IP Video surveillance cameras. The GVR3550 has fully customizable recording rules that can be set as time based, event based, manual or automatic. The GVR3550 also features automatic recording resume after power failure and automatic storage recycling.

The GVR3550 is ideal for anyone who is managing an IP Surveillance network. Because the NVR is compatible with all of Grandstream’s IP surveillance cameras, it is a perfect addition to Grandstream surveillance networks.
