OpenVox Releases New Generation of Analog Cards with Lifetime Warranty

OpenVox Communication Co. Ltd, a global provider of open source asterisk® telephony hardware and software products, has announced today that the new generation of 8 & 16 ports analog cards with optional carrier-grade Octasic® DSP hardware echo cancellation, is now available to the Open Source telephony community and joining the OpenVox lifetime warranty products family. They are the industry’s most advanced analog cards with adjustable interrupt routing design. Meanwhile, these cards enable users to adjust the interrupts frequency to reduce the CPU load up to 70%.

The newly released analog cards including the following models:

OpenVox A810 – 8 Port Analog Card, PCI or PCI express, Optional Hardware Echo Cancellation
OpenVox AE810 – 8 Port Analog Card, PCI or PCI express, Hardware Echo Cancellation
OpenVox A1610 – 16 Port Analog Card, PCI or PCI express, Optional Hardware Echo Cancellation
OpenVox AE1610 – 16 Port Analog Card, PCI or PCI express, Hardware Echo Cancellation

The A810P/AE810P/A1610P/AE1610P comes with 32-bit 33MHz PCI and fully PCI 2.3 compliant, compatible with all commercially available motherboards with 5 V or 3.3 V PCI busses while the rest comes with PCI express 1.0. They support 32 bit bus master DMA data exchanges across PCI interface at 132 Mbytes/sec for minimum host processor intervention. The advanced FPGA design enables these cards to upgrade their firmware onsite to take advantages of hardware and software improvements when available. Moreover, the Octasic® DSP echo canceller provides enhanced voice quality with up to 1024 taps/128 ms tail per channel on all 8/16 channel densities for both FXO and FXS interfaces, with no additional CPU load.
