Yealink SIP-T48G phones pass 3CX SP 6 compatibility tests
New firmware and template support for the Yealink T48G SIP Phone
Trials have confirmed that Yealink’s SIP-T48G phone is compatible with 3CX’s new SP 6 phone system designed to bring users a host of new features, including clientless web meetings leveraged by WebRTC technology, a new management console and brand new SBC functionality.
The T48G is the high end model of the Yealink T4 Series designed specifically for executives and busy professionals. Its advanced features include a 7″ colour touchscreen that makes switching between screens and applications swift and convenient, plus high-quality audio performance with support for HD audio.
Using 3CX WebMeeting means that web conferencing no longer needs Java, Flash or plug-ins as it’s clientless. Features include co-browsing, screen sharing, options to react and give feedback, plus online conversations.
The new web interface means that performing service pack updates and edit templates is now much faster than before. A specific development is new support for the SIP-T48G, which includes updated firmware and templates.
3CX was founded in 2005 by entrepreneur Nick Galea who saw the need for an open standard software PBX for Microsoft Windows.
3CX’s leading product –3CX Phone System – replaces proprietary phone systems while delivering a complete Unified Communications solution via an open standard software based IP PBX that runs on Windows and can be integrated with other Windows applications. By relying on the SIP Standard, 3CX, with Yealink as a long-term strategic technology partner, is able to deliver a future-proof, best of breed phone system.
