Grandstream has announced that the GXV3240 & GXV3275 IP Video Phones for Android have received the 2014 INTERNET TELEPHONY Lync Pioneer Award.
Grandstream’s revolutionary GXV3240 and GXV3275 IP Video Phones for Android are fully integrated with Microsoft Lync® Mobile 2013 via its Android app. These are the only desk phones within the Lync ecosystem to support native Lync video calling and video conferencing, without requiring an external camera. The two models offer different two touchscreen sizes (4. 3” and 7” tablet), provide access to a wide variety of business productivity apps (including, but not limited to, Skype®, Microsoft Office Mobile®, and SalesForce1®) and are comparatively priced to non-video enabled Lync IP phones.
Grandstream has gone the extra step in directly integrating the Lync 2013 Android app into the GXV3240 and GXV3275 to allow these phones to function as dedicated Lync-only devices, as the user’s Lync account can become the primary line (of 6 SIP lines available) on the phones and is integrated into the phone’s native dialer, for audio calls. The GXV3240 and GXV3275 IP Video Phones for Android offer a powerful Lync video deskphone that is not currently available from any other vendor.
In addition to their integration with the Lync 2013 Android app, the GXV3240 and GXV3275 combine three devices into one powerful unified communications endpoint: an Android tablet with full access to the hundreds of thousands of apps in the Google Play Store, a multi-platform, multi-party video conferencing endpoint and a powerful 6-line IP phone.
