snom has announced that it has doubled its factory warranty to two years on its entire line of VoIP Phones and its PA-1 pager on devices purchased by end users from July 1, 2013 in North America, Caribbean, Central America, South America, Australia and New Zealand. This will help to lower the total cost of ownership and boost customer’s return on investment (RoI).
The warranty, which is twice the industry average, covers the 3xx series that features the snom 300, 320 and 370, the 7xx series which includes the 710, 720 and 760 and the 8xx series with the 821 and 870.
The two-year warranty lowers the total cost of ownership of snom phones since it helps avoid any extended warranty charges. The warranty helps secure a return on investment by guaranteeing that the phones are the ultimate in reliability.
Together with snom’s durability, easy-to-use provisioning tools and free firmware upgrades, the two-year warranty delivers great value to distributors and VARs and in turn gives them a compelling value proposition to present to their customers.
IP-based phones are getting more complex, with sophisticated firmware and other features that render them crucial for business communication beyond voice. With more moving parts, it’s essential that distributors, VARs and end customers know the product they’re selling is backed by a solid warranty.
snom has made significant investments in IP-based unified communications, which is evidenced by the popularity of our VoIP and Microsoft Lync-based, UC edition phones,” said Mike Storella, chief operating officer of snom technology Inc. “We want to deliver even more value for our IP endpoints and that’s why we are backing up our innovative technology with a two-year bumper-to-bumper warranty.”
