AVer has launched three new EVC series video conferencing systems: the EVC150 for connecting 2 points, the EVC350 for connecting up to 4 points, and the EVC950 for connecting up to 10 points. These three systems feature a powerful new camera that further strengthens the EVC series’ position as the video conferencing industry’s price-to-performance leader.

The EVC150, EVC350 and EVC950 all come with AVer’s versatile new eCam Pan Tilt Zoom camera, ideal for a variety of environments. This camera boasts 18X zoom, ample for getting close-in views of people or objects and ensuring no important details are missed. It also provides an 82° field of view that can capture all participants without being moved. Its pan range of ±130° and tilt range of +90°/-25° provide users with excellent flexibility for changing focus during meetings and getting a complete view of the far site. The new eCam PTZ camera is also available for purchase separately for users of earlier EVC series systems who would like to upgrade.

In addition to the eCam PTZ camera, the EVC150, EVC350 and EVC950 all provide vivid full HD 1080p live video and content sharing. Other handy features include one-touch recording to USBs and microphone daisy chain capability, which lets users expand microphone coverage by linking four microphones in a chain. All three systems provide enhanced stability thanks to upgraded firmware, which is also available as an upgrade for older EVC systems. EVC systems’ functionality can be expanded even more using AVer’s free value-added software, such ScreenShare for wirelessly sharing images from personal computers, or VCLink for sharing images from mobile devices.

More powerful features are available for multipoint EVC systems with AVer’s EZMeetup and EZDraw software. EZMeetup allows users to connect to multipoint EVC systems from their desktop, laptop, tablet or smart phone, so they can participate in meetings from nearly any location. EZDraw adds a new dimension to video conferencing by allowing participants to make notes on shared images, helping them better build on each other’s ideas and have more productive discussions.
