VXi Corporation has announced that TMC has awarded the VXi UC ProSet LUX a 2014 INTERNET TELEPHONY Lync Pioneer Award.

The UC ProSet LUX features Visual Presence, which is a built-in LED presence indicator designed around Microsoft® Lync® standards. Visual Presence enables other users to see when you are on a call, and the UC ProSet LUX reduces unwanted interruptions—and improves user productivity. The LUX improves communication with advanced noise canceling, cutting 95% of background noise. The ProSet LUX has a plug-and-play USB interface that makes it easy to use. Users can enjoy full hardware integration with Microsoft Lync, without having to install extra software.

VXi is pleased that the UC ProSet LUX is the only headset to receive the Lync Pioneer Award from TMC and INTERNET TELEPHONY,” said Mike Ferguson, president and CEO of VXi. “It certainly deserves the recognition, as the only headset of its kind anywhere. VXi has made a name for itself as an innovator, and the UC ProSet LUX lives up to that reputation—and gives Microsoft Lync users everywhere the productivity-boosting benefits of clear, natural sound quality and one-of-a-kind Visual Presence.”

Congratulations to VXi for receiving a 2014 Internet Telephony Lync Pioneer Award,” said Rich Tehrani, CEO, TMC. “The UC ProSet LUX is enabling businesses of all sizes to leverage the Lync platform to create enhanced communications and collaboration experiences for their users. I look forward to seeing VXi’s future endeavors.”

TMC will publish the winners in the December 2014 issue of INTERNET TELEPHONY magazine.
