Yealink T19P Review – Transcript

Craig Herrett: Hello and welcome to VoIP TV, VoIPon Solutions’ product review channel. I’m Craig Herrett, sales manager at VoIPon Solutions and our sister company 4Gon, both leading distributors of communications equipment and serving customers worldwide.

Today we’re going to look at the new Yealink T19P IP Phone, the latest edition to the Yealink VoIP Phone range. The Yealink IP Phone range is one of our biggest selling brands and the new T19P is a great example of why they are so popular. So let’s get started.

The T19P comes complete with a handset, a base unit, a network cable, a handset cord, a stand and a quick start guide. Offering a modern take on the T1 series, the T19P has a smarter design and more functioning keys than the older Yealink T18P. The Yealink T19P offers a similar specification to previous models, but also features a graphical LCD screen, with accompanying navigation and hard keys. As you can see the T19P is robust and made with a high quality finish, meaning it won’t look out of place on your desk.

The Yealink T19P comes with a number of excellent entry level features that makes the phone ideal for both home and business use.

  • a 132 x 64 pixel graphical LCD Screen

  • A Single VoIP account

  • A two-port 10/100 Ethernet Switch with integrated PoE

  • A Full-duplex speakerphone

  • RJ9 Headset Compatibility

  • XML remote phonebook

Along with the Yealink T18P, the T19P can be compared to other VoIP Phones such as the Cisco 301 that also has one line. The 301 is cheaper in price but does not feature a screen. If you look at other manufacturers such as snom, Grandstream, Aastra and Polycom, their entry level models offer more features at a higher price. For this reason, the T19P puts Yealink in a unique position in the marketplace.

After reviewing the Yealink T19P, we’ve given it a VoIPon Rating of 8/10. It isn’t designed to have a set of features on par with models such as the Yealink T38G and T46G. Instead, it is made to be a cost effective, entry level solution and that, is exactly what it provides.

That was our review of the Yealink T19P. Visit www.voipon.co.uk for the best selection of VoIP products, excellent reseller pricing, next day delivery and worldwide shipping.
