Grandstream have announced that the GAC2500 conference phone has been officially tested and is now certified with BroadSoft’s BroadWorks platform. This compliancy allows any service provider in the world using BroadSoft’s platform, and their customers, to take advantage of Grandstream’s award-winning Business Conference Phone, the GAC2500.
The GAC2500 is a ground-breaking conference phone that offers unique features and functionality not found in other business conferencing devices. This powerful 6-line Business Conference Phone features 3 integrated microphones, a 8W high performance speaker, Gigabit network interface, support for up to 6 SIP accounts, a built-in 7-way conference bridge, wideband HD audio quality, and cascading capability for large conference room use. The GAC2500 offers market-leading mobility options with built-in Bluetooth to sync with any Bluetooth devices (such as smart phones, Bluetooth headsets, etc.) for local call bridging or data transferring.
It also includes built-in dual-band WiFi to allow deployment from anywhere a WiFi connection is available. The device features a familiar and intuitive Android user interface on a 4.3” capacitive touch screen. By running Android 4.4, the GAC2500 offers full access to the Google Play Store, ideal for conferencing with Android apps such as Skype, Google Hangouts and more. Because it supports both SIP and Android, the GAC2500 offers an industry-unique feature of being able to bridge calls from Android apps into SIP calls or conferences.
The GAC2500 will allow BroadSoft service providers and their customers to implement an incredibly easy-to-use Business Conference Phone that offers more communication, mobility and customization options than any other conference phones on the market,” said David Li, CEO of Grandstream. “Through our comprehensive interoperability testing and our long, successful partnership with BroadSoft, service providers can be confident that Grandstream devices will work seamlessly with BroadWorks platform and will deliver the full breadth of BroadSoft’s comprehensive service offering.”
