New Beta test features a new IP desk phone ideal for small-to-medium businesses and home offices
Grandstream Networks, the leading manufacturer of IP voice/video telephony and video surveillance solutions, is releasing its next IP phone for beta testing by the Grandstream Beta Club. Grandstream will be opening applications for the beta test of a new SMB IP phone from February 4th to February 12th, 2015.
To start off the New Year, the Grandstream Beta Club is releasing its largest beta test to date, offering 200 units of our soon-to-be-released IP phone for testing. Having launched the Beta Club in April of 2014, we have thus far tested two AndroidTM video phones (GXV3240, GXV3275), an innovative new IP PBX appliance (UCM6510), a network video recorder (GVR3550), a softphone application, and an IP surveillance camera (GXV3611IR_HD). All the feedback from our valued testers has been vital in preparing our products for the official public release and we are very excited to begin the next beta test for our upcoming IP desktop phone.
For the next beta test, the Grandstream Beta Club is looking for IP telephony enthusiasts; those who like to experiment with and test new products, and those whose innovative ideas can transform the way in which IP telephony is applied in today’s market. Ideal applicants are those who have prior experience with IP phones and IP phone networks. Those who display a dedicated interest in exploring IP technology are also invited to apply. The newest product being released to the Grandstream Beta Club is a competitive new IP phone for small-to medium businesses (SMBs) and home offices. This Linux-based model features a single SIP account, up to 2 call appearances, 3-way conference, full duplex speakerphone, a 132×48 LCD screen and 3 XML programmable soft keys. Additional features include dual switched 10/100 Mbps ports, multi-language support, Electronic Hook Switch for Plantronics headsets, intercom/paging, etc.
