Grandstream is releasing a new IP phone for beta testing by the Grandstream Beta Club. Grandstream will be running applications for the beta test of a new mid- range HD IP phone up to August 31st, 2016. To apply go to betaclub.grandstream.com.

This new addition to Grandstream’s VoIP product line serves to fit the needs of the mid-range phone market, making it perfect for users looking for a featured-pack IP phone that delivers high-performance and design at an affordable price point.

For the next beta test, the Grandstream Beta Club is looking for IP telephony enthusiasts; those who like to experiment with and test new products, and those whose innovative ideas can transform the way in which IP telephony is applied in today’s market. Ideal applicants are those who have prior experience with IP phones and IP phone networks. Those who display a dedicated interest in exploring IP technology are also invited to apply.

The newest product being released to the Grandstream Beta Club is a mid-range HD IP phone ideal for small and medium sized businesses handling moderate to high call-volumes. This Linux-based model features 8 line keys with up to 4 SIP accounts, 4 XML programmable soft-keys, and up to 5-way audio conferencing. The phone also supports 32 digitally programmable BLF/fast-dial keys with dual color LED directly on the screen.

This upcoming new phone also features a 200 x 80 pixel backlit LCD display, dual 10/100/1000Mbps Gigabit network ports, USB, EHS and PoE, along with high-definition audio quality both via handset and via the full-duplex speakerphone. The phone is also the first in Grandstream’s product line to come equipped with a Kensington Security Slot for added anti-theft protection. 60 units of this phone will be available for shipping to selected Beta Club members by early September, 2016.
