ONVIF compliance allows the GDS3710 to be integrated with third party ONVIF-certified recording products
Grandstream, leading SIP unified communications manufacturer, has announced that the new IP Video Door System, the GDS3710, has passed ONVIF certification testing. As a result, successfully passing the compliance testing ensures interoperability between the GDS3710 and third party ONVIF-certified recording products, such as Network Video Recorders (NVRs).
ONVIF (Open Network Video Interface Forum) is a global, independent industry forum that creates open standards for the IP-based security products industry to ensure interoperability between different manufacturers products.
ONVIF certification of the GDS3710 allows channel partners, installers, resellers and end users to integrate the GDS3710 with existing ONVIF-compliant video management software, NVRs and Network Attached Storage (NAS) devices. It also allows users to integrate future ONVIF-compliant recording devices or software they may purchase with the GDS3710’s tracking and monitoring interface. Beta firmware version 1.0.2.13 includes ONVIF support and is available for download here.

The GDS3710 also offers powerful integration with Grandstream’s IP phones, IP Video Phones and Grandstream Wave mobile app for audio/video intercom and letting in visitors with a single key.The GDS3710 can also be integrated with Grandstream’s UCM series of IP PBXs such that it can ring other SIP devices via a simple extension call.
