Grandstream’s GRP2600 series of Essential IP Phones are Now Compliant with Cisco’s BroadWorks

Grandstream, the award-winning supplier of unified communications, have announced that their new GRP series of Essential IP Phones are now is fully interoperable with Cisco’s BroadWorks Platform. As a result, service providers and enterprises using BroadWorks can now seamlessly deploy Grandstream’s entire GRP series of Carrier-Grade IP Phones, including the new Essential Series, which are designed for mass deployment.

Part of the GRP2600 series of Carrier-Grade IP Phones, the Essential IP phone line provides simple, easy-to-use devices with zero touch provisioning for mass deployment and easy management. The devices in the Essential series are designed to offer simple-to-use, affordable desktop IP Phones with a sleek design and next-generation features. Built for the needs of on-site and remote workers and designed for easy deployment by enterprises, service providers and other high-volume markets, these essential IP phones offer an easy-to-use and easy-to-deploy voice endpoint.

With the certification of the GRP Series of Essential IP Phones, Grandstream’s full portfolio of IP voice, video and cordless IP Phones are fully interoperable with Cisco’s BroadWorks. • 5-way audio conferencing and support for full band Opus voice codec with 48KHz sampling rate
• Equipped with noise shield technology to minimise background noise
• RJ9 jack for general headsets with special Electronic Hook Switch (EHS) support for Plantronics EHS headsets
• Integrated PoE (available on GRP2601P)

Grandstream GRP2602 IP Phone

• 132x48 (2.21 inch) backlit graphical LCD screen; supports 2 lines, and 4 SIP accounts
• 5-way audio conferencing and support for full band Opus voice codec with 48KHz sampling rate
• Equipped with noise shield technology to minimise background noise
• RJ9 jack for general headsets and special Electronic Hook Switch (EHS) support for Plantronics EHS headsets
• Integrated PoE (available on GRP2602P)
• Built-in dual-band 802.11ac Wi-Fi support (available on GRP2602W which will be available by the end of Jan 2021)
• Swappable faceplates to allow for easy logo customisation
