The Sangoma s700 is an IP Phone with six SIP accounts and a competitive price point. The s700 is aimed at executives and is designed to work with FreePBX. Matthew Waters, from VoIPon, takes a look at the s700 from Sangoma. See the video above or read the full transcript below.

Hi, I’m Matthew Waters part of the inside sales development team at VoIPon Solutions, in this video we are going to be showing you the Sangoma S700 VoIP Phone. This unit is part of Sangoma’s VoIP Phone portfolio, featuring 6 SIP accounts, Sangoma zero touch technology and has been built to work specifically with FreePBX.

When purchased from VoIPon, the S700 comes with a handset, stand, handset cord and Ethernet cable – with the option to add a UK power supply on our website.

So what does it do? The S700 offers executive level functionality straight out of the box at a competitive price point. The phone has all the usual standard VoIP phone features including call holding, forwarding and transfer, Power over Ethernet and VPN Capability.

The S700 has dual port gigabit ethernet and headset compatibility, a full duplex speakerphone and five way conferencing, as well as HD voice. It also comes with a 4.3 inch full colour display and 36 programmable soft keys.

A unique feature of the Sangoma VoIP Phone range is that they are designed to work with FreePBX. This phone can automatically locate FreePBX and pull the configuration straight out of the box. Sangoma call this Zero Touch Technology and it enables for instant, hassle-free integration with FreePBX which can save hours on larger deployments.

With this phone, you also get Endpoint Manager, normally a chargeable add-on, that can auto provision up to 150 popular desk phones, gateways and other hardware. Easily update soft key functions, such as quick dial, directly from the FreePBX web control panel with UCP (User Control Panel) for Endpoint Manager.

There is also Phone Apps – again another normally paid for additional module given for free when the Sangoma IP phone is purchased – including Do Not Disturb, Voicemail, Conference Rooms and much more.
