Ingate software-based session border controller (E-SBC) enables fast, secure deployments of ShoreTel Version 14.2 virtual PBX, creating seamless interoperability between the ShoreTel PBX and any ITSP.
The Ingate SIParator enterprise session border controller (E-SBC) from Ingate® Systems has been selected as the only E-SBC solution to be resold by ShoreTel® for its release 14.2 virtual PBX. The Ingate SIParator E-SBC is delivered as a software solution fully integrated with ShoreTel 14.2.
The SIParator ensures integration between the ShoreTel PBX and Internet Telephony Service Providers (ITSP), including SIP trunking service providers, resulting in fast, simplified deployments. The Ingate E-SBC automatically configures the ShoreTel 14.2 to work with SIP trunking service providers, creating a SIP trunk connection designed to the user’s individual setup.
Ingate SIParators apply enterprise-class security features to any ShoreTel 14.2 installation. They have support for NAT and PAT as well as for TLS and SRTP to encrypt both SIP signaling and media, eliminating the security issue most commonly associated with using enterprise VoIP.
