2N have released a new card reader version for the 2N Helios IP Verso and 2N Helios IP Force intercoms. The reader is capable of reading the secured PACS ID number from HID iCLASS cards.

The development of new readers for the 2N Helios IP Verso and 2N Helios IP Force intercoms was completed in July. Just as the previous version, the new readers can read all chip cards working at 13.56MHz frequency, bot now also those with NFC technology. They can now read the secured PACS ID number from HID iCLASS cards in addition to the regular uID serial number.

The new readers will therefore be especially useful in installations where 2N IP intercoms are used with readers and cards from HID. 2N thus increases the competitiveness of its products, which is also one of the key factors for the success of the company’s business partners. They can now take part in projects and tenders involving HID equipment.
