Until now there has not been an easy and affordable way to provide an IP Paging/Access Control solution for Microsoft Lync users.… Now, Patton has an exciting announcement that will change all of this. Patton and CyberData are partnering to offer the market’s first IP Paging/Access Control solution for Microsoft Lync.
Recently certified with Microsoft Lync, the Patton SmartNode Gateway provides the necessary gateway between the noncertified CyberData IP Paging/Access Control device and Microsoft Lync. Adding a new IP Paging/Access Control station can be as simple as attaching a station to the existing network infrastructure and back to the Patton SmartNode Gateway.
Why IP Paging/Access Control? IP Paging/Access Control enables a quicker, costeffective and more flexible installation than traditional wired, analog systems. You also eliminate the need for separate voice and data networks. Who needs IP Paging/Access Control? Any organization that needs to quickly and effectively alert an entire team (or just a small group) can benefit from the advanced features and functions:
- Schools
- Medical Offices
- Car Dealerships
- Warehouses
- Manufacturers
Already have an old analog paging system in place? Don’t worry. Patton’s SmartNode Gateway can enable you to connect this equipment to your Lync Server as well.
With their partnership, Patton and CyberData also offer IPbased intercoms and door phones for 2way communication and access control. Using the Patton SmartNode Gateway with a CyberData IP Intercom provides Lync users with twoway communication and a door entry device activated by a key code from a Lync phone. This also removes the limitation of requiring dedicated wiring and therefore introduces a much greater degree of flexibility in the design and maintenance of an intercom system. Adding a new IP intercom/door entry station can be as simple as attaching a station to the existing network infrastructure and back to the Patton SmartNode Gateway.
CyberData’s VoIP IP Intercoms are exceptionally sturdy ensuring you effortless communication with the people coming to your door in combination with reliable security for your building entrance. It supports voice
