Yeastar has announced the release of the new firmware version 30.11.0.28 for the award-winning  S-Series IP PBX.

OPTIMISATION

System Stability
  • Fixed the system issue: The system memory would be insufficient if an unstable network drive kept disconnecting and reconnecting to the PBX.
Extension
  • Optimized Max Call Duration(s) setting.
    • Max Call Duration(s) setting is applicable to all types of calls on the PBX.
    • Max Call Duration(s) setting for Extensions: Added 10800 option (PBX > Extensions > Features > Max Call Duration(s)).
    • Global Max Call Duration(s) setting: Added 10800 option (PBX > General > Preferences(s)).

    Note: The precedence of Max Call Duration(s) (Global v.s. Extension):

    • For internal calls: The Max Call Duration(s) setting of the caller’s extension takes precedence.
    • For outbound calls: The Max Call Duration(s) setting of the caller’s extension takes precedence.
    • For inbound calls: The global Max Call Duration(s) setting takes precedence.
  • Optimized extension registration: The PBX would not send MWI NOTIFY message to Linkus client after the Linkus client was registered.
  • Optimized extension registration: Speed up and shorten the time of registering extensions in bulk.
Trunk
  • Fixed the issue of SIP trunk setting: The setting of Maximum Channels on SIP trunk could not take effect.
SIP Settings
  • Added support for responding 200OK when receiving 407 Proxy Authentication Required.
  • Optimized the All Busy Mode for SIP Forking feature.
  • Fixed the issue of Inband Progress: The Inband Progress option was not checked, the inband_progress = no parameter was added to configuration file automatically, then the users’ custom configuration could not take effect.
  • Fixed the issue of SIP INFO compatibility: PBX did not respond when receiving SIP INFO packets (content-type=application/QSIG), and the call was ended after 32 seconds.
Network
  • Optimized the feature of IP Auto Defense: The maximum value of Number of IP Packets is 255.

    Note: In the earlier version, the maximum value of Number of IP Packets was 120.
  • Fixed the static routes issue: The static routes for PPPoE could not take effect after PPPoE was reconnected.
Call Features
  • Fixed the Call Forwarding issue: Call Forwarding destination was set to Ring Group, but calls could not be forwarded to the Ring Group correctly.
  • Fixed the Ring Group issue: The internal call to a Ring Group has been answered by a Ring Group member, but a prompt of missed call still displayed on other members’ phone.
  • Fixed the issue of Speed Dial list: After adjusting the order of speed dial list by Speed Dial Code or Phone Number, the speed dial list was disappeared.
  • Fixed the issue of call pickup: The caller ID was not displayed on the phone when the inbound call was picked up.
CDR and Call Recording
  • Optimized the search method of CDR and recordings: Speed up and shorten the time of searching CDR and recordings.
  • Fixed the CDR issue: When the Queue members enabled DND, the missed calls did not display in the CDR.
  • Fixed the CDR issue: If a call to a Queue was unanswered after transferring blindly, multiple records of missed calls were generated in CDR.
Fax Detection
  • Fixed the issue of Fax Detection: If a trunk was used both for call and fax, and Fax Detection was enabled on Inbound Routes, fax might fail to be sent from PBX.
Multisite Interconnect
  • Fixed the compatibility issue between Multisite Interconnect and Queue: The asterisk might crash when the caller who called to a queue hung up.
  • Fixed the issue of Multisite Interconnect: When using Multisite Interconnect feature, the PIN List of Outbound Routes could not take effect on the Headquarter.
Event Notification
  • Optimized the event notification feature: when network disconnects, the PBX can notify the contact through extension or mobile phone.
  • Fixed the notification issue of System New Firmware Detection: After enabling the System New Firmware Detection, the notification contact would receive a large number of event emails after the PBX updated firmware.
Storage
  • Fixed the issue of USB formatting: After formatting the USB driver, the USB status displayed on Storage Devices list was wrong.
Event Log
  • Fixed the Event Log issue: If the Interface Type of Digital trunk was set to T1 or J1, the SS7/PRI Debug could not be set correctly.
API
  • Fixed the issue of wake-up service: Set the alarm type to onetime, even if the wake-up call had been answered, the alarm still repeated at the next cycle.
  • Fixed the issue that the API worked anomaly, and the web interface was inaccessible.
Firewall
  • Optimized Firewall feature: when the blocked IP address is added to Firewall Rules, this IP address will be removed from the Blocked IP Address list.
  • Fixed the Firewall issue: The PBX would add the dropped IP address to Blocked IP Address list even if Drop All was enabled.
Email
  • Added STARTTLS option to Email.

    Note: If you enable TLS, the STARTTLS is enabled by default . If the mail server doesn’t support STARTTLS, please disable this option.
  • Optimized the Email settings: All characters are allowed in the Password field.
  • Fixed the issue of system Email: The PBX could not delete the received emails that contained long contents or special characters, which caused the PBX web interface to be inaccessible.
Remote Management
  • Fixed the issue of Remote Management: The prompt time displayed wrongly after time-out of remote connection.
  • Fixed the issue that remote management connection might be failed.
Auto Provisioning
The new version of Auto Provisioning (1.8.13) is pre-installed after upgrading the PBX. Check the updates below.
  • Added support for the following IP phones:
    • Fanvil: X210, X210i, X1, X1S, X1SG, X2C, X3SG, X3U, X4U, X5U, X6U, X7, X7A and X7C
    • Snom: D385, D735 and D717
    • Yealink: VP59 and W60B
    • Polycom: VVX411
  • Optimized DSS settings of Fanvil phones (X5/X5G,X4/X4G,X5S and X6): Added Action URL type of DSS key.
  • Optimized Custom Template of Snom phones:You can add custom parameters in the custom template.
  • Fixed the issue of Snom phones: The phones did not reboot automatically after performing auto provision.
  • Optimized settings on Snom phones (D305, D315, D345 and D375): Added the Tone Scheme setting in Preference tab.
  • Optimized the IP address of Snom phones: Whatever the Web Server Type you set for the phone, you can click the IP address that is displayed on the Device List page to access the IP phone.
  • Optimized the issue of Snom phones: Even through you didn’t upload the phone firmware to the PBX, an error of firmware upgrade failed would be displayed on the IP phone.
  • Fixed the auto provision template issue of Fanvil phones: The value of <language> parameter in the template was incorrect.
  • Fixed the issue of Custom Template: Custom template did not take effect if you added devices in bulk or imported an auto provisioning file.
  • Fixed the issue on Firmware Upgrade page: The uploaded firmware wasn’t be displayed on Firmware Upgrade page after upgrading the phone version.
Linkus Server
The new version of Linkus Server (2.3.15) is pre-installed after upgrading the PBX. Check the updates below:

  • Improved Linkus performance.
Hotel
The updates of Hotel new version (1.1.26):

  • Fixed the extension issue of room: the extension was wrong after adding a room.
LDAP Server
The updates of LDAP Server new version (1.4.12):

  • Optimized LDAP authentication: Anonymous access to the LDAP server is not allowed.
Char utile h+ Integration
The updates of Char utile h+ Integration new version (1.0.21):

  • Changed the alarm codes of Char App.The alarm codes on newly installed Char App are as follows:
    • The default code of Set Alarm is: *95.
    • The default code of Delete Alarm is: *96.
    • The default code of Delete All Alarm is: *97.
    • The default code of Check Alarm is: *98.
