VoIPon Solutions attended CeBit 2015 and spoke to all the top manufacturers on show.

In this interview, Alexis Argent speaks to beroNet on their new VoIP Gateway and more.

Alexis Argent, VoIPon: Hello my name is Alexis Argent, I am the founder of VoIPon Solutions, a distributor based in the UK. We are here at CeBIT 2015 and i am joined with Jeff from beroNet who is in business development. How are you finding the show Jeff?

Jeff Stahlnecker, beroNet: Well its been pretty exciting so far, we’ve had quite a lot of foot traffic and its interesting to see how many people are interested in our products and the solutions we are offering.

VoIPon: That’s cool, so what new products do you have? Perhaps you can talk us through them?

beroNet: The new product we have today with us is the new gateway, part of the beroNet VoIP Gateway range. It’s a prototype right now but what we’ve done here is we’ve tried to make a solution that is similar to what we have so far so its going to be cloud managed, its going to be installable in 5 minutes and it works with pretty much any IP PBX you could put through it. So basically what this is here is we’ve added a third module and allows for a lot more customisation and expansion opportunities for customers and doing that just makes it so you can pretty much do with this one device what it would take for two of our current gateways to do. So we’ve had a few customers looking to do something like that, we’ve heard what they have wanted to do and we have moved forward and created the new gateway. What’s also really cool about this is that we have put in a micro SD card here and that allows us to run some mini apps on this gateway. So for instance we have a customer in Austria and what they do with the gateways for 3CX installations is run a survival branch PBX, and so what happens with that is if they lose the connection to the main 3CX the branch can still make telephone calls if their connection to 3CX is gone. That’s the gateway we have right now.

VoIPon: Cool, perhaps you can tell us about any upcoming products or software developments?

beroNet: Again this product is upcoming and is a prototype now, we also have an upcoming appliance thats going to have a faster processor, its going to have a few other cool features, we will say about that more later. We are currently working on finishing up our T1 module so we can enter the United States market which is going to be pretty exciting.

VoIPon:  Wells that’s great to hear! Well many thanks for your time Jeff, it’s been a pleasure. Thank you very much, cheers!
